PWN MEETING:
BUISNESS AS A FORCE FOR GOOD:
OPPORTUNITIES AND STRATEGIES FOR POSITIVE IMPACT

From climate change and environmental degradation to widespread poverty and social inequity, there is no doubt that society faces significant pressures. Within this context, companies must also navigate through such challenges as evolving customer demands, rapidly advancing technology, and increasing resource scarcity. The convergence of these conditions suggests that more than a “business as usual” approach is needed to establish a successful and sustainable enterprise.

Traditional views of corporate social responsibility frame positive impact as a trade-off with profitability. However, this presentation will outline the business case for sustainability and responsibility as new standard currencies in business which are central to building a profitable and successful organization. As it turns out, business for good is very good for business.

 Join Tamar to discuss:

  • The business case for sustainability and social impact
  • Sustainability as a key driver of innovation
  • The social enterprise model
  • Local case studies
