ARTstor Workshop

ARTstor is a subscription database of digital images in arts, humanities, education and sciences. ARTstor gives students and faculty the ability to view and save images from institutions all over the world. It is easy to get started collecting and viewing images. Some of the more powerful functions of the software may take some instruction.

Simon Pennington, Associate Professor of Art History, will be leading this workshop to show you how you can get started with using these high resolution images with your materials. You will learn:

  • how to build your own ARTstor files
  • how to sort and edit your presentation images
  • strategies for using ARTstor in lectures and for test/quizzes
  • how to download images in PowerPoint and the ARTstor Offline viewer
