PWN MEETING: Lessons From the Entrepreneurial Trenches

When it comes to entrepreueurialism, Ryan Wilson is a vetran who has won and lost more than a few battles.

In this discussion, Ryan will touch on some of the challenges he has faced in two decades as a young entrepreneur, and the lessons those challenges taught him. Ryan will offer his thoughts on marketing, information security and building a workplace filled with passion. Ryan will also moderate a discussion about the real challenges facing attendees' businesses for the latter part of the discussion.

About Ryan:

Ryan Wilson has built technology solutions for the healthcare, construction, insurance and banking industries. Having received his Certified Information Systems Auditor Desingation, Ryan is responsible for the security, reliabilty and availability of Kubera's transaction processing systems. His experience includes designing, installing and operating mission critical infrastructure for publicly traded financial institutions, 2010 Olympics, BC Hydro, and Cirque Du Soleil. In 2013, Ryan enabled any British Columbian to see a doctor from their iPhone anywhere they have internet access for free by launching the Medeo telemedicine service. Ryan is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Kubera Payments, a Vancouver based financial technology company.
