Driving Directions 

3rd Tuesday Support Group for
Parents of Young Adults
in Watertown

This group will focus on issues of particular relevance to parents of adults
with Asperger Syndrome who are in transition. Topics may include college, employment, independent living, relationships, holding on and letting go,
and other subjects of interest to parents of adults between 18 and 28 years
of age.

The group will be moderated by Michelle Alkon, a coordinator of adult
services at AANE, where she works with adults and their families,
presents at workshops, and teaches courses for parents.
Michelle is also the mother of two young adults with ASD.

All meetings will be held at AANE. We will meet monthly for 6 months on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m.:

  • September 15
  • October 20
  • November 17
  • December 15
  • January 19
  • February 16

The cost is $90 per person ($45 for a second parent in the same family) for all six meetings. You must register for the entire series.

The group is limited to 12 participants. Participants must be current members of AANE. If you are not sure of your membership status or if you wish to renew your membership, contact Karen at karen.doran@aane.org or at 617.393.3824 ext 10.
