The mission of the Heartland National TB Center is to build capacity with our partners. We will share expertise in the treatment and prevention of tuberculosis by: developing and implementing cuttngedge trainings, delivering expert medical consultation, providing technical assistance, and designing innovative educational and consultative products.

Target Audience
This training targets nurses and other allied health care workers responsible for the administration and interpretation of the tuberculin skin test (TST).
Format
The format for the training will include lecture presentation, video presentation, pre and post testing, and skill building exercises.
Conference Goal
The goal of this training is to provide an indepth educational and training experience for the nurse or health care worker who is responsible for screening, administering and interpreting the tuberculin skin test.
Conference Objectives
Upon course completion, participants will be able to discuss Tuberculin Skin Testing, and practice the application of the TST.
