Juggling Act: Livable Jobs and Profitable Companies

How do you create a quality, work/life-friendly workplace, offer an attractive package of combined wages, benefits and workplace practices AND remain profitable at the same time???

Most Americans believe that someone who works full time should be able to meet basic needs without resorting to financial assistance.  But like so many things, that is much easier said than done!

Join us for a roundtable discussion on the challenges you face in creating livable wages for jobs, share the practices or ideas you have for overcoming those challenges, and learn of existing resources to help you achieve your organization’s compensation goals.

This workshop is for nonprofits and for profits of all sizes and stages.  All participants will receive a free copy of the Livable Jobs Toolkit (Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility).

This session will be facilitated by Mary Ann Kristiansen, Executive Director of the Hannah Grimes Center, and joined by Linda Rubin, Director of the Healthy Community Initiative and Ann Connor, Principal of the Connor Coaching Team of AdviCoach.
