Target Audience
This course is designed for disease prevention specialists, epidemiologists, infectious disease nurses and other public health workers who would be anticipated to become directly involved in a contact investigation.

Conference Goal
The goal of this training is to is to build capacity with disease prevention specialists, epidemiologists, infectious disease nurses and other public health workers by developing skill sets necessary in managing a TB contact investigation in a congregate setting.

Conference Objectives
Using interactive lectures and tabletop exercises, participants will be able to: review epidemiologic features of TB disease trends and risk factors within the United States, identify the components and guidelines of a TB contact investigation, and identify the essential elements to TB contact investigation in a congregate setting from initiation to completion.

Format
The format for this course will be lecturestyle presentations with tabletop exercises.  There will be ample time for questions and answers.
