Target Audience
The target audience for the TB Contact Investigation Interviewing Skills Course is health care professionals responsible for conducting TB contact investigation interviews.

Format
Online portion: The format for this portion of the course will be web-based, presentations with group discussions, exercises, and case sharing. Recorded online training modules as well as exercises are also be included. There will be ample time for questions and answers during the group discussions.

In person portion: The format for this portion of the conference will include lecture presentation with case scenarios and audience discussion and participation and Interactive skill building exercises. There will be ample time for questions and answers.

Conference Goal
The goal of the conference is to improve the TB contact investigation and interviewing skills and proficiency of both new and experienced health care professionals responsible for conducting TB contact investigations.

Conference Objectives
Using highly interactive lectures, interactive skill building exercises and other types of learning exercises, participants will be able to: identify the components of a TB contact investigation, communicate effectively during an interview, use cultural and diverse considerations when interviewing, identify various types of interview questions, and identify strategies for conducting an interview in a special circumstances.
