Monadnock Localvore Workshop:

Goat Milk Soap Crafting,

Holland Homestead Farm

Tuesday, September 9th, 3 - 5 pm

In a small group session we will cover safety, preparation, scenting, molding, curing and troubleshooting as we demonstrate how to make a small batch of soap using the cold process method.

Rebecca Holland is the co-owner of Holland Homestead Farm and has been crafting goat milk soap since 2006 using milk from their herd of 30 goats. Holland Homestead Farm crafts over 10, 000 bars of soap a year along with their Goat Milk Lotions and Scrubs. Contact the farm at 1-424-888-GOAT.

Consider bringing your own eye safety protection, it will not be provided. Also, wear clothing that covers bare skin: long pants and long sleeves.

Sliding Scale Donation of $5 - $15. Registration is appreciated.

The Monadnock Localvore Project is a Community Partnership of the Hannah Grimes Center, the Cheshire County Conservation District and countless volunteers. Visit us on the web at www.Localvore.org or www.Facebook.com/MonadnockLocalvore.
