Scott Allen is a New York based designer with the global architecture firm, Perkins+Will. His portfolio encompasses over 25 million square feet of work throughout a broad range of building types and he is currently involved in a number of projects across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and Asia. Scott’s work emerges from ideal, yet pragmatically rational methods, guided by an open dialogue, economic evolution, and curiosity. He believes in testing unique and creative solutions that respond to the needs of users and are meaningful to their context, while simultaneously challenging the way we reshape our world. Scott’s work has been featured in Fortune, Fast Company, various art galleries, and exhibitions. On Wednesday, September 25, he will be at Makerbot’s NoHo store to discuss ideas, buildings, and processes by featuring a few recent projects.
