Blessing of the Backpacks Mass,
 Parish Carnival and Pizza Party 

Sunday, September 15
Mass at 10:30 followed by Bouncy fun and Pizza in Egan Hall

Everyone going back to school is invited to celebrate the beginning of the new year by bringing their backpack, book bag or tote to be blessed by Fr. Crispin at the 1st Annual Blessing of the Backpacks.  Mass will be followed by an indoor carnival in Egan Hall with bouncy fun and games.  Pizza will be provided by the Knights of Columbus.

To help our neighbors and be more of a presence in our community, we invite you to fill your child's backpack with non-perishable food items to help support the Broadview-Thomson K-8 (BTK8) Food Program.  The kids will be invited to leave the food on the altar during Mass.  Click here to read more about BTK8.

Volunteers to help with this fun event would be greatly appreciated.  
This is a wonderful opportunity for High School students to earn service hours.
