The objective of this session is to encourage awareness and to mitigate risk. Speakers are all Seattle-based experts in their respective fields and will share some insight into preparedness, and for resilience after an incident.

AGENDA:

11:35am  Introduction & Remarks

11:40am  Domonique Williamson, Schemata Workshop

11:45am  Voiko Tanev, Digital Seattle: Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning

12:05pm  Cale Ash, Structural Engineer at Degen Kolb: ShakeOut Event and Preparations

This FREE Business Technical Assistance luncheon will be held in the private banquet room next to the One World Dining restaurant in Seattle Central Community College's Broadway Edison Building.

LIMIT OF 25 PARTICIPANTS

As with reservations at a restaurant, no-shows take an opportunity away from someone who really wants to be there. If you sign up, please remember you are making a commitment to attend.

A special THANK YOU! to Mike Mariano and his team at Schemata Workshop for putting together the content and speakers for this event.

Non-English interpretive services can be arranged with sufficient notice by calling 1-800-823-9230 during normal business hours.

The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce and Sound Transit provide an opportunity to address the needs of retail businesses and restaurants during construction of the Capitol Hill light rail station through the Business Technical Assistance program. In 2013, Capitol Hill business owners are invited to programs on a variety of educational and engaging topics while enjoying a gourmet lunch provided by Seattle Central Community College’s award-winning Seattle Culinary Academy.
