Carolyn HolcroftIntro to the Global Citizenship Pathway Curriculum Collaboration
This collaboration between SJSU and West Valley Community College involves a multidisciplinary GE course sequence centered around a theme of Global Citizenship. Students begin the pathway at West Valley CC, where they can earn an AA degree with a "Cultural and Global Studies" emphasis. Later, students and can earn a certificate from SJSU when they complete the pathway there upon transfer. West Valley CC faculty member Cindi Reiss and SJSU faculty members Dulce Gray and Steve Brantz will explain the pathway and help Foothill faculty brainstorm about how we might create a similar pathway for our students.
