The Art of Negotiating in Business

Negotiation in business assumes that both parties want to agree more than they want to disagree

Business involves coming to agreement with many different people - employees, customers, suppliers, landlords - in different ways - contracts, leases, purchase orders, employment agreements, etc. You need them. They need you. Working out how you will do business together what business is about.

The negotiating workshop deals with how to obtain what you need in business agreements to be successful.

The key areas covered are:   

  • How negotiation impacts sales results.
  • Links between negotiation, communication, goal-setting,  and the sales process.
  • Enhance negotiation results by using core skills.
  • Prepare the three-tiered goal analysis for negotiable issues.
  • Develop negotiation strategies based on opportunity and buying behavior.
  • Identify and apply bargaining techniques.

    Learn how to handle discussions, interactions, and negotiations to get what you need to be successful at this dynamic session.

    Workshop fees:  $25/person advanced registration, $35/person at the door 
    Please Note:  PayPal or credit card accepted with advanced registration. Cash, credit cards or checks accepted at the door.

    Parking: Note that this workshop is in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. There is easily accessible multi story public metered parking that is free after 6 PM located halfway down the block between NE Third Avenue & Andrews Ave and is next to Ft Lauderdale City Hall. You will only have to pay for the time between 5 & 6 PM and the meters are only $1 and hour. Note that they only take quarters. There is other parking on the same street. Don't park anyplace where you are driving up a ramp. Those are the high priced lots.
