Mid-Autumn NYC Harbor Cruise 

JOIN US IN WELCOMING THE CCAA TO NYC!

Families who have adopted from China throughout the tri-state area are warmly welcomed to cruise the New York City Harbor with the current deputy director of the CCAA and a delegation of 20 adoption officials from provinces throughout China.

This cruise will be a wonderful opportunity for the adoption officials to visit with the many children from China who have been adopted through the years and who are growing up in loving homes under the care of their families and communities. 

To celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival there will be games, activities and crafts for children of all ages to participate in. (And mooncakes of course!)  Our cruise ship has a dance floor for dancing and performances, both planned and impromptu! 

A buffet-style luncheon will be served.  Beverages will be available for purchase on board.

Help us decorate the ship with Chinese Lanterns!  Once you have registered for the event you will receive a confirmation email that also includes instructions on how to make a simple Chinese lantern.  Please enjoy making one or more lanterns with your family in anticipation of this cruise – and bring along your lanterns for hanging around the dance floor!

Youth volunteers are needed! -- Calling all children, 13 years of age and older, to help with some of the crafts/activities for the younger children!   Please be sure to let us know of your interest in helping out with your registration and THANK YOU!

A professional photographer has generously donated her time to take group photos of the children along with the CCAA delegation.  She will also be available to take some family photos and candid shots of the day.

Be sure to register and mail your checks before Sept. 14th to get the early registration price.  If you register after Sept. 13th you will be required to pay $5 extra per adult.  If you register after Sept. 13th please bring your payment to submit at Check-In the day of the event.  Registration will remain open until we have reached capacity for the boat.
