Social Work CEUs for Rural Health Conference

On October 21-22, 2010, the MRHA and other rural organizations including the State Office of Rural Health (SORH) and the Rural Maryland Council (RMC) are joining together to host the 2010 Maryland Rural Health Conference -- Rural Matters: Emerging Health Challenges and Opportunities. The goal of the conference is to mobilize rural health stakeholders to enter the next decade with a clearer picture of the challenges and opportunities facing rural communities.  The Western Maryland Area Health Education Center (WMAHEC) is helping to sponsor the event and is an approved sponsor of continuing education with the Board of Social Work Examiners.  This program meets the criteria for 10 credit hours of Category I Continuing Education activity if all sessions are attended. For an addtional fee of $20.00 Licensed Social Workers can gain 10 credit hours of Category I CEUs. To register for CEU hours please click below on the blue button. Registration for credit hours will close October 15, 2010 prior to event and it is vital to receive credits you attend the full day and half program. As required there will be sign in sheets for all those wishing to recieve credits at the registration desk.

Registration for the entire conference is $235.00 (includes breakfast and lunch both days and dinner on Thursday).  Space is limited and registration will be closed at our max capacity.  To register for Social Work CEUs you must be  separately registered for the conference.
