GIA Retreats: Reiki I and II trainings 

The Japanese word 'Reiki'  consists of two syllables representing two symbols:

The first symbol REI represents cosmic universal aspect of this energy;

The second symbol KI represents the fundamental life force flowing and pulsating through all living things.  You may know other names for it, like 'chi', 'prana', 'light', bioenergy, or  the breath of life.

Reiki is a natural and simple healing method which allows you to absorb more life force energy.  It vitalizes and balances your life force and the energies in your body.

I began using alternative healing when I received a bad break in my shoulder and arm...surgery and medicine and hard physical therapy felt damaging to my body.  I went into accupuncture and therapeutic massage and chiropractics.  I later came across Reiki by a friend life coach from Australia....after a cross country plane ride, I was ill and my shoulder and arm were aching so....Alan performed Reiki me on for 20 minutes right in a life coach training session break....I was sold.

This gentle method of healing is a magnificent stress reducer, needs no instruments, can be done anywhere, enhances other healing modalities, including assisting with major disease like cancer, Alzheimer's, heart disease.

There is much more.  It is a major natural healing method for selfcare and for the care of others. Many countries have whole families, including children who are trained in Reiki.  I will share with you I take no medicines and haven't for over 7 years.   I use Reiki instead.  There is a great byproduct.  It keeps a person young:)
