The Lost Secrets of Tae Kwon Do Kicking

with Grandmaster Forrest G. Blair

On Saturday, September 11th, 2010, Grandmaster Forrest G. Blair, 8th Dan, Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan and current head of the Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan USA association, will host a day-long seminar and workshop on the original principles of Tae Kwon Do kicking.

"Why? Because I can't take this knowledge to the grave with me..."

The modern art of Tae Kwon Do is a sport known for its kicking versatility. Tae Kwon Do kicking, in its original form, has crushing and devastating effects. Over the past 20 years, many power producing principles from the past have been deleted and lost in obscurity. This course is designed to reestablish this lost knowledge within the martial arts community.

During the course of this seminar you will learn:

  • The hidden truth of Tae Kwon Do stances;
  • How to combine exoskeletal/muscular power with the core's strength to produce dynamic kicks;
  • The lost secrets of Tae Kwon Do's low art, creating shrouded footwork;
  • The secrets of right brain vs. left brain vs. primitive  brain driven activity;
  • Chambered vs. Chamberless Kicking;
  • The differences between kicking as applied to self defense and kicking as applied to competitive sparring; and
  • Stationary, walking, running, pushing, hopping, skipping, turning, spinning, hop turning, jumping, flying, dropping, rolling, trapping, sweeping, and locking principles as applied to Tae Kwon Do kicking.

This seminar is designed to enhance your knowledge while adding a new dimension to your kicking and to your ability to perform or teach basic through advanced kicking skills. You'll learn how to bridge the gap in your personal self defense while at the same time enhancing your competitive sparring skills.

Master Blair

This seminar is open to all martial arts styles!

An internationally known competitor and instructor, Grandmaster Blair will conduct the workshop himself. As a veteran of several martial arts disciplines, with more than 47 years experience, Blair's step-by-step breakdown of these lost advanced principles guarantees, beginner to expert, a new dimension in martial arts kicking never achieved before.
