Light Green Machine Institute 2011 Conference 

The 2nd Light Green Machine Institute Conference and Workshop will be held January 15-16, 2011 at the Atlanta Airport Hilton, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The Conference will kick off at 1 pm on the 15th, going into the evening.  It will resume on the morning of the 16th and conclude by 1 pm.

We will be publishing the conference agenda here with updates periodically.  Please check back often.

A call for papers is out and we are looking for suppliers and entrepreneurs with ideas and mills with success stories.

Our theme is Material Applications

The Agenda will include experts speaking on

• Steel Structures
• Aluminum Structures
• Lightweight Aggregates for Concrete
• Steel Yankee Dryers--John Schamell, Andritz

We expect to report on progress on the Basic Machine Index (TM) Project, which is already underway.

The first conference, held May 1, 2010 in Atlanta, received enthusiastic support.  Every respondent to the feedback form said they would likely attend the next conference.

We expect to publish a full agenda by October 2010, in the meantime, you will want to take advantage of  early bird conference registration and our limited supply of hotel rooms.
