The Girl Scout Council of Greater New York serves more than 23,000 girls in virtually every zip code of New York City’s five boroughs from every socioeconomic sector. Our substantive leadership development programs include career exploration, financial literacy, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), camping and environmental programs, and the nation’s largest business training program for girls, the Girl Scout Cookie Program.

The demand for Girl Scout programs is on the rise in New York City – in fact, our girl membership grew by 6% last year.  Funds raised at the Women of Distinction Breakfast will help us meet this rising demand and prepare today’s Girl Scouts to become tomorrow’s Women of Distinction, fulfilling our mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
