Southern Fired Arts Festival 7/31-8/1/2010 

Come join us for a very Special Arts Festival in Flowery Branch!!  Combining great artists, their wide varieties of art medium and great music - this is a weekend long celebration of SOUTHERN FIRED ART!

In keeping with the Original Art Theme - the musical talent for the weekend will include local up and coming musicians - Ivan Duke, Alex Hall, Peggy Hoskins, Terry Dillard, Buddy Carvello, Trip Henson, The Hurricane Band and other Special Guests.  The music will range from country to gospel to southern rock and provide a great back drop for your original art.  The music will play on the depot stage where you will also be allowed to conduct art demonstrations and interactive sessions if interested.  There will be BBQ and drinks available all weekend provided by Oakwood Occasions.

There is one major requirement to participate - the artist must be on hand, no resellers please.  You may create pottery, wood crafting, painting, glass blowing, jewelry, stained glass, etching, sculpting, carving, sewing, quilting, clothing, furniture, mosaics, metal working, etc ... as long as you create the work, you are invited. 

The booth spaces are 10x10 and cost $150.00 for the weekend.  Electrical access is available for an additional charge of $30.00 .  This is a weekend long, rain or shine event, it is suggested that you use a tent.  Tents, tables and chairs can be provided for additional fees as well.  Tent Rental $100.00, 6' table and 2 chairs $30.00.  There will be 40 vendors at this event and it is expected to sell out quickly. 

This is the first of what is planned to be an annual event.  It will be advertised via banners located around Flowery Branch, the digital FB Marquis at Spouts Springs Road, flyers, Facebook, Twitter and Linked In as well as Enewsletters and Daily Radio Spots on FM 103.7 with the North GA Kids' Directory. 

Some of you receiving this invitation may not eligible to participate as a vendor for this event, we would encourage you to consider submitting your literature in the Goody Bags.  We will holding a registration/raffle for a large screen TV and other door prizes and the first 300 registrants will get a goody bag with your brochures, business cards, coupons... for $25.00.  You may submit a gift valued over $50.00 in lieu of payment for additional exposure. 

We are very excited to bring this new festival to the Flowery Branch Community.  Your thoughts and suggestions will be welcome.  We'll see you at the Depot for some great Art, Music and BBQ - Southern Fired Style!!
