An Appreciation and Memorial Event Celebrating the Diversity of Coal Miners
Please join us for a very special event honoring the diversity in mining and fund-raising event for the Roosevelt Lynch Scholarship.
This unique event will honor Roosevelt Lynch and Joel "Jody" Price, two African American miners who recently lost their lives in the Upper Big Branch disaster, as well as the rich history of diversity in the mining community in Southern West Virginia while rasing money for the Roosevelt Lynch Scholarship Fund.
With special keynote speaker Thomas Jones, NFL player for the Kansas City Chiefs and son of a coal miner, this will surely be a memorable event you won't want to miss.
The Beckley Area Foundation will manage the proceeds from the soul-food style luncheon at Tamarack in Beckley.
Please join us in person, as a sponsor, or as a contributor. You may register for the event below, or call DBD Law at 304.342.0133 to reserve your seat. Seating is limited!
