MsET Lunch & Learn - NASA Innovative Partnerships Program at Stennis Space Center

The Innovative Partnerships Program (IPP) at John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) is responsible for research and development of new technologies, as well as the assessment, certification, and acquisition of technologies from the commercial, academic, and government sectors in order to improve safety, efficiency and the effectiveness of propulsion testing, earth science, and Stennis Space Center's institution.

Each year, technology needs are identified at Stennis for potential projects. The SSC IPP utilizes several types of programs to develop or enhance technologies to meet specific NASA needs.

• Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR)
• Small Business Technology Transfer Programs (STTR)
• Dual Use Technology Development Program
• Seed Fund

About the Speaker: John Lansaw

John Lansaw holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with over 20 years of experience in Aerospace Rocket Propulsion.  John worked for Aerojet and Lockheed Martin before accepting his current position with the University of Southern Mississippi providing support in technology development and transfer at Stennis, currently known as the Innovative Partnership Program (IPP).  John has been involved in the administration of the SSC Dual Use Program since its inception in 1999 as well as involved in other technology development programs under IPP.
