Join the GREEN Summer of Service with State Radio!

Before Chad, Chuck, and Maddog take the stage at Wolf Trap Farm Park in Vienna, join Calling All Crows and members of State Radio (above) as they unite with Surfrider Foundation – DC Chapter for a pre-show service project!  Volunteers will take part in a creek clean up of Pope Branch, a creek that flows within SE DC and empties into the Anacostia River just north of the Pennsylvania Ave bridge (John Phillip Sousa Bridge). We'll walk in groups to our cleanup site, at a location that will be announced at our meeting point. NOTE:  There has been a location change as noted, and the updated meeting point is listed to the sidePLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THIS NEW MEETING POINT.

Volunteers are encouraged to come weather prepared with some water, a hat, and wear sun screen.  Surfrider will provide rubber gloves and trash bags, and trash pickers.  Calling All Crows' Green Summer of Service with State Radio is its most ambitious hands on volunteer campaign ever with a goal of engaging 500 fans volunteering over 2,000 hours at 15 environmental service projects.

This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required.
