After Chad, Chuck, and Maddog take the stage at the The Independent in San Francisco, join Calling All Crows and members of State Radio as they unite with the Surfrider Foundation – San Francisco Chapter for a service project the day after the show! Volunteers will take part in a beach clean up at North Ocean Beach, Stairwell 17. The Stairwell is approximately where Golden Gate Park meets Ocean Beach, near the Park Chalet restaurant right across the street from the beach. Volunteers are encouraged to dress warmly and come with some water, closed-toed shoes, grubby clothes, and weather/walking appropriate clothing. Volunteers might consider bringing work gloves, rubber boots, snacks, etc. Surfrider will provide rubber gloves and trash bags.
Calling All Crows' Green Summer of Service with State Radio is its most ambitious hands on volunteer campaign ever with a goal of engaging 500 fans volunteering over 2,000 hours at 15 environmental service projects.
This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required.
