Further Information
Further information on the Conference is at www.profi-bus.co.uk, on the venue at Stratford Manor and information on the region Shakespeare CountryFollowing the undoubted success of the last six conferences, PROFIBUS UK is delighted to announce the PROFIBUS & PROFINET User Conference 2010.
Based on the feedback gained over the previous years, 2010 promises to be better-than-ever! Totally user-focused, it will take place on June 29 & 30 at Stratford Manor, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. The hotel sits in its own 21 acres of grounds just 5 minutes from junction 15 of the M40 within easy reach of Birmingham International Airport. It has recently completed a multi million pound refurbishment to give all the benefits of a modern hotel making it a great base for our Conference.
Comprehensive Educational Programme
Featuring a comprehensive, multi-stream educational programme that will lead Users through PROFIBUS and PROFINET from the basic technology through to its use in real world industrial and process applications, this two-day Conference features application-oriented technical sessions and hands-on workshops presented by technology experts and experienced users and systems builders drawn from a wide variety of application areas.
Covering the latest developments in PROFIBUS, PROFINET and PROFIsafe technology for factory and process automation, the programme places great emphasis on serving the needs of the User community, i.e. companies that own, operate, design, build or maintain manufacturing facilities and process plant. The aim is to assist companies making the transition from conventional to fieldbus systems as easy (and jargon free) as possible.
These sessions will include audience participation and so there will be opportunities to explore for yourself how PROFIBUS and PROFINET equipment and techniques are used in practice. The carefully organised schedule means that you can attend hands-on sessions without having to miss an important presentation.
The event is supported by a free of charge exhibition with interactive displays and technology demonstrations from the UK's PROFIBUS Competence Centre and leading product vendors, trainers, consultants and systems integrators.
Who Should Attend and why?
The programme of parallel conference presentations, hands-on practical sessions and exhibition mean that this event is a "must" for anyone involved in, or thinking about, fieldbus, intelligent instrumentation and actuation or networked control systems applications. Supported by live demonstrations of actual tools used in calibration and maintenance, the programme will be of great value to Instrument Technicians/Engineers, C&I Engineers and System Engineers involved in design, operation and maintenance of modern process and manufacturing plant. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all delegates to add to their professional training records.
