"Dress Up Like Your Favorite Mother"

Are you mothballing an old Mother Teresa Halloween costume you're dying to wear again, or always wanted to be Mommy Dearest? Don your mom duds and drink for a good cause!

Our motherly and comedic hostess, Chicago personality Bertha Mason, will be leading the way with fun, games and her infamous sweet nature!

Crawling Schedule:

2pm - Begin at Crew Bar + Grill (4804 N. Broadway St.)- Lunch Ladies Contest: contestants will make 3 brown paper bag lunches including peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, cookies, and an apple. First place wins a prize.

And from there we board a bus to...

3pm: Nick's Uptown (4015 N.Sheridan)- Wash and Wear Contest: contestants will sort through a pile of laundry to match socks, whoever matches 3 pairs of socks wins a prize.

4pm: Fat Cat (4840 N. Broadway)- Phone Call Contest: Contestants use a rotary dial phone to call their sons.  The contestant has to come up with the best guilt trip for their child to come to visit.  Audience votes on the best phone call and guilt trip. Prize awarded to winner.

5pm: The Spot (4437 N. Broadway)- Mother of Us All Contest: Contestants dress up in their best "Bertha Mason" garb.  The one who gets the best Bertha look wins a prize.

6pm: We'll end the night at Uptown Lounge (1136 W. Lawrence)

Attendees will enjoy $2.50 Stella Artois deals all day, plus games, raffles and a costume contest!

Tickets are $10 in advance/$15 at the door. Proceeds will support the programs and services of the Uptown Chamber.
