WILL YOU WALK FOR AN ORPHAN?

All Blessings International, Inc. (ABI) invite you to participate in our signature event, the 2010 Orphan Walk. The first ABI sponsored Orphan Walk occurred in 2009 and raised over $6000 in orphan assistance. These funds helped children to be fed, clothed and cared for overseas. Until there are no more orphans our fight will never end. Unfortunately, due to the ravages of disease, natural disaster and poverty the number of orphans is increasing worldwide! With your help we can make a difference in the life of an orphan. We hope you will join our efforts through ABI’s 2^nd Annual Orphan Walk.

The Orphan Walk is a team event that brings attention to orphaned and abandoned children around the world and raises funds for ABI’s humanitarian aid, education, advocacy and adoption services. It is a fun, outdoor fundraising event where teams take turns walking or running around a track and participate in a variety of team events.  

You or your team will be joined by others July 23^rd at the Apollo High School Football Field from 6pm to 12 midnight.

The Walk starts off with a HOPE lap, where children who once lacked a family walk the initial lap with their adoptive family and friends, symbolizing the hope that orphaned children have through adoption and humanitarian support. Later in the evening, there is a beautiful and touching Candlelight lap that pays tribute to the orphaned children that are still living in orphanages across the world.

How can you help?

WALK. You can form a team or walk as an individual to support the Orphan Walk. A team and/or individual registration can be sent to you. Team registration is $100 and individual registrations are $15. We will be having a team meeting in May and would like to have team registrations in no later than May 14^th.

CANDLE PURCHASE. You may purchase a Candle to honor an orphan or in remembrance of someone who was adopted.  Candle's are $5 each and can be purchased by contact the Orphan Walk coordinator. They will also be available for purchase the evening of the event.

SPONSOR. Organizations can sponsor the Orphan Walk through monetary donations or in-kind services.  We have 4 sponsorship levels: Platinum $500, Gold-$250, Silver-$100 and Bronze-$50. each level will have a different amount of advertising included. DONATE. You can support orphans by making a tax-deductible contribution to All Blessings International, Inc. If you would like to donate, please send your donation and include your name, address, telephone number, and email to All Blessings International, 3808 S. Griffith Ave., Owensboro, KY 42301. All donations should be received by July 16^th, 2010.
