Answers to Some of your Questions:
Question 1. When will loose DOGS running around the Center (and MBYC) be taken care of?
Answer: We intend to resolve this lingering issue by March 15th. Public Laws, safety and neighborly factors demand that we do this. And we will.
Question 2: When will our http://sdrc-row.org website be updated?
Answer: Andy, Mark, Oscar, Sean and Dan O'Neill are tackling this important project. We intend to launch a dynamic and interactive web presence (linked to our social networking sites) by July 1st.
Don't be bashful if you have an itch that we can scratch for what you want to see - after all - that ol' radio station "WIFM" really matters!
Question 3: Who won President and Captain Awards at our Annual General Membership Meeting?
Answer: Excellent query!
Our commuter WildMan - Evan Helmy - snagged the prestigious BullSlinger Award.
Dodd Wragg (our Starboard Stroke barista and philosopher) garnered the Competitor of the Year.
Art Sloate is the recipient of the Dave Weigel Short OAR award.
Chuck Datte was recognized by President Richard Yocum for his long and successful support of winning crews. If you want to race better - Reverend Chuck's sermons are available every Sunday morning.
Question 4: Are we going to receive a cheatsheet to better use amazon.com associate and escrip tools from our current and future website? I understand that the Club can generate needed income this way.
Answer: Absolutely! Give us 'til April Fool's Day to publish a blow-by-blow instructional guide. Hey - since many of us purchase things from amazon.com - why not let your Club receive a 5% payback?
Question 5: Where are sign-up and work-lists posted for our Weekend SPRING CLEANING (20-21 March)?
Answer: Thanks for asking! Our first Quarterly Cleaning precedes the Crew Classic weekend when we'll host ~ 300 GALA revelers at Le CARNEVALE di San Diego. Walter, Hunter, Dan and your Board are compiling task lists for this needed Work-day. Look for them by Monday, 3/8 and please plan to be a part of our Spring Cleaning. Much remains to be done.
