ENERGY KINESIOLOGY ICPKP
A TRAINING PROGRAM
CONFERRING A COLLEGE CERTIFICATE AS A
BASIC KINESIOLOGY PRACTITIONER (BKP)
Energy Kinesiology is a natural healing system and effective healthcare modality that can be practiced without a medical license. Therefore it is widely accessible.
Energy Kinesiology offers highly effective ways which produce objective, tangible change quicky, easily and safely to decrease stress, gain energy and vitality, and and improve overall health. It is routinely used to improve performance in academic, artistic, athletic and career arenas, and to address learning disabilities and remove creative blocks.
Energy Kinesiology is a comprehensive, systematic method of analyzing the bodies functions and energy (i.e., “chi” ) that draws heavily from both ancient Chinese medicine and modern neurology. It uses a form of biofeedback called “muscle testing” to identify imbalances in the body’ energy flow and to correct them with gentle, non-invasive, but very effective techniques.
Learning Basic Applications
In this program, you will learn:
Topics include:
self-testing and selfcare techniques; accurate muscle testing; acupressure techniques; meridian therapies; command points; yin/yang, 5 element theory; 5 element color balance; 5 element sound
balance; numerous pain relief techniques; diet and nutrition; food and supplement testing; allergy and sensitivity testing; Polarity, brain integration techniques (great for helping learning disabilities); muscle reactivity; thymus life energy; postural stress relief; and much more.
Areas of Imbalance that Energy Kinesiology Addresses
As a Kinesiology Practitioner, Energy Kinesiology can help you and your clients achieve your goals in every domain of life.
Accredited College Curriciulum
BKP is an internationally certified curriculum that is overseen by the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice in New Zealand. The faculty consists of MDs, DCs, and other professionals who ensure a consistently high standard of scientific scrutiny and quality.
The curriculum is routinely reviewed by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), their national Board of Education and Professional Licensing bureau, to ensure it meets all academic and professional standards.
Successful completion of the 15-month BKP certification program grants an accredited certificate from ICPKP. This provides licensure qualification in countries where kinesiology is a sovereign licensed
profession. The full ICPKP four-year program grants an International Professional Diploma from ICPKP.
The BKP program is the first year of this PKP program and successful applicants can continue their
kinesiology studies to complete this diploma.
The additional diploma training covers:
flower essences, color therapies, crystals and gems, magnets, chakra balancing, additional nutritional components, advanced mind-body integration techniques, and extensive training in advanced emotional, mental and spiritual techniques to release stress and traumas and improve performance beyond the BKP Kinesiology training.

Defines kinesiology and anatomical parts of the body. Develops basic self-care skills using meridian trace, energy reflex points, body testing, walking gaits, simple emotional stress release, emotional trigger words, crosscrawl, auricular energy and visual inhibition techniques, goals and a ‘time of day’ balance for self care.
2. Manual Muscle Testing BKP 1.102
Accurate muscle testing, evaluation procedures, facilitation/inhibition, dehydration, ionisation, neurological disorganisation, CV integrity and thymus energy, orgin/insertion and spindle/golgi techniques, bones of the skeleton and an energy balance for others.
3. 5 Element Introduction - Yin Balance BKP 1.103
Sound, colour, food, emotional and vertebral balancing techniques, circuit locating, the challenge. the 5-Element eight muscle energy balance, priority balance procedure.
4. Kinesiology and Superficial Connections BKP 1.104
Understanding of meridians and their related organ systems , 14 muscle goal balance, surrogates, More and Priority modes, body movements in anatomical terms, create a simple record of a client balance.
5. 5 Elements - indepth BKP 1.105
5-Element principles in depth, 5-Element emotions, alarm points, luo points, AHPs, alternative indicator muscle tests, surface anatomy and recognise the muscles’ action in sport and exercise, yin/yang principles to perform a 5-Element one-point goal balance.
6. Professional Skills Balancing Protocol with PKP Database BKP 1.106
Effective listening skills to establish client rapport, use finger modes, Professional Kinesiology Practioners’ database concept, simplified PKP protocol, age recession.
7. Pain Reduction BKP 1.107
Evaluate pain levels, use emotional and postural stress release, meridian flow adjustment, muscle energy techniques, cross crawl exercise, figure-8s, marine spiral energy and food or supplements to reduce physical pain.
8. History / Balancing with Food BKP 1.108
Development, philosophy and principles of kinesiology. Chain of life, six stages of nutrition, food combining, biogenic, biostatic, biocidic substances, construct diets using 5-Element, food family and food rotation principles, use of C1 and ear acu-point sensitivity tests.

Muscle facilitation and inhibition, muscle and meridian reactivity, posture, muscle stretch response, sustained muscle use, hidden muscle failure, specific circuit and contralateral spindle techniques.
10. Client Health Records and Professional Relationships BKP 1.110
Establish, utilise and update a client health record. Describe professional health care relationships, set clear boundaries and communicate with both individuals and groups in a professional manner; apply client history to establish desired outcomes, maintain client rapport, facilitate client towards self-responsibility model, keep clinical records, make necessary referrals.
11 & 12. Practice and Polish Weekends
These are practical skills sessions of open practice and several mini-seminars to polish and expand on your existing skills. They are open to all students and alumni of ICOHA and other kinesiology practitioners as well. These are an ongoing Continuing Education offering at this college.
BKP students will be required to attend 2 of these in the last 9 months of their program.
