Attend KPI Performance Metrics for Integrated Manufacturing Systems

This course teaches how to identify and apply performance metrics for the integrated Real-Time Manufacturing Operations Performance Management™ (RTMPM) process starting with the eleven (11) MES functions. RTMPM represents a Plant Floor-to-ERP integrated manufacturing  systems framework that uses MES architecture in the middle. This system integrates production data with ERP business systems on a “real-time” basis and enables “real-time business performance reporting” through intelligence-based web portals. The only data integrated from the plant floor to business systems and the data warehouse is data that supports a pre-established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This concept assures a focused and efficient integrated business solution approach.

An integrated RTMPM framework drives multiple business benefits that include financial benefits, operations benefits, management and supervisory benefits, and customer benefits. Financially, RTMPM continuously monitors yield improvements through disassembly (or assembly) operations. Operationally, it can feed live business information into an Advanced Finite Capacity Planning and Scheduling software application. At an executive level, various department heads can monitor KPIs attached to the RTMPM system to monitor production output levels and real-time product cost standards for individual SKUs. And from a customer safety standpoint, it enables “Real-Time Electronic Tracking and Tracing” within an integrated food safety/quality assurance framework.

Manufacturing Performance Metrics (MPM) in this course will be based on:
