The Arc of Montgomery County's signature fundraising event is a terrific opportunity for you to join business and political leaders, philanthropists and disability rights advocates who want to have a good time while helping to improve the lives of more than 2,500 local residents who depend on The Arc's housing, job training, family support and educational services.

And the best part is that you'll have a lot of fun joining us!  Whatever you like best about fundraising events--cocktails, gourmet food, Monte Carlo style gaming, auctions or raffles--we'll have it at Beat The Odds 2010.  What we won't have are endless speeches and  hard-driving fundraising appeals.

During our cocktail reception sponsored by Chevy Chase Bank, you'll nibble on creative hors d'oeuvres, sip a relaxing beverage and enjoy the company of old friends while making new professional and social contacts among our 300+ guests.

You'll also enjoy browsing among the hundreds of live and silent auction items on offer.  This year, we're including vacation packages, "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunities, fine dining and entertainment certificates, decorative accessories, jewelry and more!

The gourmet dinner buffet, sponsored by Richard J. Princinsky & Associates, will offer something for every taste, and will feature farm-fresh local ingredients in exotic preparations.  A miniature dessert extravaganza will provide the sugar rush needed for an exciting evening of gaming!

Take a seat at a gaming table and hope that Lady Luck is on your side.   Pick a table and stay there or wander from one game to another trying your luck at craps, roulette, blackjack, casino poker, let it ride poker or three-card poker.  At the stroke of midnight, you can trade in your play winnings for a chance to win 250 scratch-off lottery cards.  Who knows how much you might win?!

Beat The Odds guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in The Arc's exclusive $5,000 CASH raffle.  Four lucky people will win cash prizes ranging from $500 to $2,500.  Even if you're unable to attend Beat The Odds 2010, you can still purchase raffle tickets by clicking the "Register Now" button below.

The Arc of Montgomery County, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization.  Guests will receive goods and services valued at $50 for each ticket purchased.  Donations in excess of that amount are tax-deductible as allowed by law.  The Arc's financial statements may be examined upon written request to 11600 Nebel Street, Rockville, Maryland 20852-2554.  Documents required by the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are available from the Office of the Secretary of State for the cost of copying and postage.
