Summer Pole Vault Camp, June 26-28

Welcome to our Rusty Shealy Pole Vault Camp page!  The Columbia camps are held at Shealy Athletics, the home of Rusty Shealy Pole Vault.  Summer camp fee is $475 for overnight, and $425 for day campers.  We have top national pole vault coaches assisting us again this year.  Summer camp housing will be in a large home on beautiful Lake Murray, making it an unforgetable summer camp experience.  We will provide transportation from our facility to the lake, as well as all meals, during the camp.  Our camps are designed for both new and experienced vaulters.  All ages 13 and above are welcome.  Groups will be taught based on ability level.  Vaulters will be taken through a series of highly successful learning progressions, as taught by the best coaches worldwide.  We believe in learning by doing.

Please share this Rusty Shealy Pole Vault Camp information with your friends and coaches to make it the best camp possible.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at the email address or phone number listed.  We look forward to seeing you!

About Us...

Rusty Shealy, Columbia, SC:  As Director of Rusty Shealy Pole Vault, Coach Shealy is referred to as "The Unfair Advantage".  Since 1998, he has coached ninety-one South Carolina High School State Champions, eleven National Champions and had three on "Team USA" the World Team.  He may be the only coach in the country to ever have four of his athletes acheive the rarity of jumping their age, since only a few people in the world do it each year.  One jumped 14' at 14 years of age, four have jumped 15' at 15 years old, two jumped 16' at 16 years old, and one 17' 1" at 17 years of age.  As an NCAA coach at the University of South Carolina, Rusty coached seven Southeastern Conference scorers in two seasons, with one NCAA Indoor All-American.
