Kelie Hess – Brief Bio

Kelie Hess has been working with people with disabilities for 15 years and is currently working at Utah State University's Institute for Disability Research, Policy, and Practice. She served as the Program Manager for the Utah School to Work Project, a statewide system change initiative. This initiative focuses on cross-system collaboration for improving competitive, integrated employment outcomes for transition age youth with high support needs. She is currently providing training on Customized Employment for special education and transition educators and Guided Group Discovery to individuals and families. Kelie is a person with lived experience with disability and is enthusiastic about educating others on disability inclusion, equity, and expectations.
