Discover Why Understanding your Financials is Key to Scaling Up your Business

In this workshop, you will:

  1. Understand your Profit & Loss. Discover how understanding or lack thereof of your company’s key cost drivers can make or break your business. Hear the story of the billionaire who travels by bus and the two brothers who discovered the assembly line of food business model.
  1. Understand your Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) and discover the key to a healthy cash flow. Simply put, CCC measures how long it takes after you spent the money to make its way back to your business plus profit. Discover how a Texas-based company built a business model to achieve a favorable CCC.
  1. Know your business performance levers.  Learn to identify key performance indicators and how measuring and monitoring these levers will be key to succeed in business. We will discuss two business cases.  One, hear the story of two retail businesses, one in a very bad location, one in a really good location, then, find out who is more successful and most importantly, why. Discover why in food and restaurant business, why few companies make it and why the rest don’t.

In this workshop, learnings are reinforced using series of cases and business success stories to illustrate key financial concepts.
