Hiring, interviewing and knowing all the rules and regulations associated with being an employer is often very daunting and scary for the small business owner.
This “Lunch and Learn” workshop will explore and practice interviewing techniques to insure only the most motivated and effective employees are selected to participate in your business. Come prepared to practice these all important listening skills!
You will learn techniques that really work!
We will also discuss what you need to know from a regulatory standpoint so you will be fully informed as to the rules and requirements. We will discuss employee vs independent contractors, new hire reporting, minimum wage, maintaining employee files, payroll and taxes, workman’s compensation, benefits, etc.
