24 Hour HAZWOPER Class March 7 - 9, Fort Wayne 

A 24-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) class will be held March 7 - 9, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day at the SES Training Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana (3807 Transportation Drive) . The cost is $425.00 per person.

The 24-Hour HAZWOPER Occasional Site Worker class covers the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and 1926.65  standards, and is intended for individuals who may be exposed to hazardous waste, but not over permissible exposure levels.  Topics covered will include hazard recognition, toxicology, site characterization and analysis, personal protective equipment, respiratory protection, decontamination, spill management and containment, and hands-on scenario review.

The 24-Hour HAZWOPER class is limited to 6 students due to social distancing requirements.  Attendees should bring a mask with them for times when social distancing may not be possible.  Food will not be provided on-site due to sanitization requirements; however, a lunch break will allow attendees to dine off-site.
