YCV Discussion Event on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID), Part 2 

This event will focus on practical implications of MAID in Ontario for medical professionals, caregivers and clergy with the aim of trying to help these three groups think through the choices that are before them and what the range of faithful Christian responses can be. This will be a practical session with upfront talks and small-group interactions.

Presenters—the Rev. Dr. Eric Beresford and Mr. Michael Buttrey—will be joined by Dr. Jennifer Moore, palliative care physician at Sunnybrook Hospital. Jennifer has practiced as a primary care geriatrician in North Carolina and Washington DC. She has been  a staff physician at an inpatient hospice facility and is involved in providing Dignity Therapy to patients at end of life. This event is open to YCV clergy and lay people.

Attendance at previous sessions is not a requirement.
