With extensive backgrounds in children’s book writing, illustration, animation, film, music and educational software, the Studio’s mission is to create the highest quality digital book experiences for children. Our over-arching goal is to help promote a lifelong love of reading and creativity.
Our Tickle Books are characterized by their intriguing stories – often involving a surprise twist! – and high-quality art production. Music plays an important role in engaging the young reader’s imagination.

Author/illustrator Wallace E. Keller was raised in Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans. His illustrations have appeared in The New York Times Book Review, Business Week, Ms. and Psychology Today. He is an author and illustrator of children’s books and educational textbooks (Scholastic, McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin). He has also designed national ad campaigns (McDonald’s “What’s On Your Plate” stop-motion animated PSAs) and children’s television shows (Nickelodeon’s “Dora the Explorer”). He received a B.F.A in Illustration from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
Valerie Mih has created animation for feature films (Toy Story II, A Bugs Life), television commercials (Hershey’s Kisses) and educational software (Star Wars Math, Posit Science Brain Fitness Program). An M.F.A. graduate of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, she has directed and produced award-winning educational films, including shorts for PBS and an animated documentary about Albert Einstein (awarded Best Animation, Cinema and Technology Festival). Prior to co-founding See Here Studios, she served as the Art Director at Posit Science Corporation. Nurturing the next generation of animators, she is the faculty lead for the M.F.A. in Computer Animation program at The Art Institute of California-San Francisco. An avid musician, she composes music and performs jazz piano in the San Francisco Bay Area, and can be heard on independent albums in iTunes.
