The Small Business Summit

The Entrepreneurial Development and Assistance Center (EDAC) and The Maryland Bankers Community Reinvestment Group (MBCRG) invite you to the second annual Small Business Summit: “The Business You Want and More… Let’s Get Started!” sponsored by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). 

The Summit will feature:

  • panel discussions on access to capital, both traditional and non-traditional lenders as well as procurement opportunities from government and community agencies; 
  • resources providers offering information and resources to help in all phases of your business;
  • an opportunity to meet one on one with resources providers including banks; and
  • a panel of entrepreneurs who will share tools they use to stay competitive in their respective industry. 

Among the organizations participating will be Morgan State University’s Entrepreneurial Development & Assistance Center (EDAC), US Small Business Administration, Baltimore City Small Business Resource Center, Baltimore County Department of Economic Development, Maryland Capital Enterprises, Maryland Bankers Community Reinvestment Group to name a few.  The event will be hosted by Entrepreneurial Development & Assistance Center (EDAC) at Morgan State University. There is no cost to attend however, registration is required. Dinner will be served.

The Entrepreneurial Development & Assistance Center (EDAC)'s mission is connecting budding & existing entrepreneurs to resources for venture management & growth. 

The Maryland Bankers’ Community Reinvestment Group (MBCRG) consists of over 45 financial institutions whose mission is to, not only serve the needs of the small businesses but to inform them of the opportunities that include loan products and services that will enhance and educate them to better succeed in their business endeavors.
