Wine, Dine and Learn about Shrimp

If you love seafood and want to learn more about where it comes from, you’ll enjoy attending this next event of the Wine and Dine series. You will get to sit back, relax with a glass of wine and a deliciously-prepared meal of North Carolina shrimp at Basnight’s Lone Cedar Café in Nags Head. Chef Bud Gruninger is creating a unique menu for the evening, featuring shrimp prepared in a variety of ways, each with an appropriate wine pairing.

While we wine and dine, the federation will give local updates about restoration efforts and opportunities to get involved. The main event will be hearing from a local waterman that works hard to harvest shrimp and get local seafood to your table. Learn about the importance of shrimp in our North Carolina waterways and how you can help us protect their estuarine habitat: No Wetlands, No Seafood!

 

The price for this multi-course menu, featuring local shrimp, with multiple wine pairings is $50 for federation members and $60 for non-members. Seating is limited, so please register below to reserve seats.  Reservations are non-refundable and guests must be 21 years or older or accompanied by an adult.
