Dr. Orm Øverland, professor emeritus, American Literature at the University of Bergen is a historian, author, editor and translator of NAHA publications including The Western Home, a Literary History of Norwegian-America (1996) and our latest publication series, the three volume set of From America to Norway: Norwegian-American Immigrant Letters 1838-1914.

Bridging Continents, Bridging the River, a Recap of the NAHA/MNSAH Joint Tour
For those who were unable to join us for the Bridging Continents, Bridging the River tour, Dennis Gimmestad will present a recap of the Norwegian-American architects and engineers and the Mississippi River gorge bridges they designed and influenced. Dennis is recently retired as a historian with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and serves on the NAHA board of directors.

Biennial members meeting
NAHA Members will elect Association Board members and review the organization's financial and programming achievements and goals for the future.
Following the biennial meeting we'll enjoy a delicious lunch while we honor our outgoing board members, volunteers and celebrate the individuals supporting our Club 2014 Campaign for Climate Control.
