Workshop Details: As part of your online registration you will be asked to choose the 3 workshops you would like to attend during the the three workshop sessions.

Workshop Session 1- 9:15am to 10:45am

• Advantages of Becoming a Certified Women or Minority Owned Business: Learn the processes and advantages for being a certified woman or minority owned business.
• Crowd Funding, What it is and How it works:  Learn what it is and hear from local small businesses who have used various crowd funding sources

Workshop Session 2 - 11:00am to 12:30pm

• How to Seek Economic Development Resource Support: Resources reviewed at the city, county state and federal levels.
• Power of Peers - Peer Sharing to Solve Business Problems:  Interactive, engaging session with problem solving of real small business issues.  Bring your business issues and walk away with possible solutions.

Workshop Session 3 - 2:15pm to 3:45pm

• Managing Your Sales Effort:  Explore different sales channels and learn about the use of manufacturer's representatives and distributors.  Also, learn about industry organizations that are primarily involved with the advancement of rep/manufacturer relations.
• Demystifying Commercial Real Estate:  Learn from experts: buy or lease, advantages and disadvantages, pitfalls and processes
