Parking is FREE in the RBA lot on Andrews Street right before the pay lot. The gate arm will go up when you drive up to it and you will be provided with a code to use when you leave.

Restaurant Start-up & Survival Workshop

| Are you considering a restaurant business? Not sure you'll be profitable? In this workshop you will learn the key areas that are critical to the success of your restaurant. You'll learn how to avoid costly mistakes before you open your doors.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Cash control and funding from conception thru one year of operation
- Location's effect on menu planning, pricing, decor and pr-opening budgeting
- How to hire staff
- How to keep honest people and identify others
- Working to cultivate service minded staff
- How to get things fixed before they breakdown
- Social media opportunities
- Licensing and permit applications/maximize working with government agencies
- How to purchase hard goods and operational supplies
Workshop Fee: $45 (includes continental breakfast and lunch) payment made through PayPal (PayPal account not required), must have a credit/debit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover).
When you arrive at the PayPal screen, you will have the option to log into your PayPal account if you have one, or select "Don't have a PayPal Account" where you'll be able to input your billing information. If you have a PayPal account you will need to use the credit card associated with that account. |
