Presenter Bio: Fred Weber recently retired after 40 years as CEO of Weber Scientific, a manufacturer and distributor of laboratory diagnostic tests and supplies to the food and beverage industry. Since his departure, all existing staff have been retained and the managers are now running the company. Fred is proud that he made himself completely dispensable for this to happen!
In addition to managing all aspects of a growing business, Fred specialized in marketing and product development. His experience includes conceiving and implementing innovative ways to service the industry, as well as developing products that became industry standards.
Looking back, he feels starting Weber Scientific was obviously a major decision but an excellent one.
In 2016 Fred was elected a Fellow of the International Association for Food Protection. He has a BS from Penn State University.
