Writing a Successful Business Plan

A Free Workshop from SCORE

Description:  The most common mistake a new business makes is failure to prepare a business plan. A solid business plan is your road map to success and a critical tool for funding.

This workshop discusses how to design an effective plan for your business and document that plan for investors/lenders and other interested parties. We will provide you with the details and the components of a business plan and how to ensure that its various parts “fit together." This workshop highlights the multiple uses of the business plan in recruiting competent staff, negotiating with suppliers and major customers, and dealing with other stakeholders.

Presenter Bio:  Ernest (Val) Mathews is a Business/Technical Solutions professional with 20+ years success driving complex engagements, pre- and post-sales support, managing sub-contractors, and developing new services in changing commercial, government, and technical markets.
