Description: With increasing demand for U.S. products in emerging markets, now may be the time to consider taking your products to international markets.  Since the National Export Initiative was enacted in 2010, many trade barriers have been removed and foreign trade agreements strengthened, creating a more level playing field for small U.S. businesses looking to export abroad.  This workshop focuses on practical aspects of buying/selling to global markets.  Learn the Import/Export fundamentals of how to choose a market, country product requirements, finding buyers, cultural etiquette, payment terms, required documentation and sales/marketing strategy.
