Angel Investing and Other Funding Sources

Description: This seminar provides insight into the world of angel investing.  It will focus on key requirements for consideration, how the process works, pros and cons, and who might qualify for this type of funding.  It will also touch upon related types of funding, in particular venture capital and private equity, contrasting the different perspectives of each. 

Seminar Leader:  The seminar will be led by Dave Plucinsky.  Dave is a SCORE counselor with 35 years of domestic and international business experience.  Prior to returning to the USA in late 2008, he spent 20 years working and living in London, England, the last 12 years as a self employed consultant.  During this period Dave worked primarily with start-up companies and turn-around situations.  In certain of these situations, he was an investor and/or represented investment groups, in others Dave acted in a consultancy role.  His experience includes working with companies operating in the USA, EU, Far East and Australia.
