9:10 to 9:50 Age-Friendly Assessments: Review of SNHPC’s age-friendly community and bassessments. Group break-out discussing assessment tools they can bring back to their communities.
9:50 to 10:30 The Challenges of Creating Age-Friendly Housing: The SNHPC team will share their experiences working with communities to create age-friendly zoning and engage participants in a fun, eye-opening activity to help visualize diverse living choices in their own communities.

10:40 to 11:10 Transportation, the Number One Concern: Participants will learn about outreach efforts and partnerships SNHPC has been involved with to move transportation concerns into strategic options. Highlight partnerships and SNHPC’s Volunteer Driver Program Story Map
11:15 to 11:40 Recreation and Engagement – Staying Connected: Recreation and engagement, those elements that make up “quality of life” for people of all ages are key elements to age-friendly communities. SNHPC staff will review our library assessment, share memorable partnerships and ask participants to share their own stories and ideas for building key partnerships that provide engagement opportunities in their communities.
