2018 BABY TOT SPARKLER CONTEST

Participant Eligibility: Gallia County residents ages 1 day to 4 years old, as of July 04, 2018 are eligible to participate. Family members of the River Recreation Festival Committee, its sub-committees and/or staff of the Gallia County Chamber of Commerce are not eligible to participate.

Judging: All judges are from outside Gallia County. Each age group will have 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners for both boys & girls. (6 winners total per age group). All participants will receive a ribbon. Winners will be selected based on appearance and in the judge’s opinion, the cutest child. All participants must either be wearing a diaper or swimsuit/trunks. Children who arrive wearing clothing other than what is specified herein OR children who arrive wearing make-up will not be permitted to participate. No decorative hats, headbands, hairpieces, jewelry (including earrings), or any other types of embellishments or accessories permitted. Parent must either hold the child on stage or stand beside them during the official contest. Strollers or carriages cannot be used during the contest. THE JUDGES’ DECISION IS FINAL.

Registration Information: Early registration deadline is Monday, June 25. Applications received after this date will be accepted; however, a late fee will be assessed.

Cost by deadline:            $12.00 per child                            

Late Applications:           $15.00 per child

Final registration and Check-In will be from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in the Gallipolis City Park on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Parents who pre-register their child/children will pick up their number at this time. Contest begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.
